Christina Perri – A Thousand Years – Piano and Violin Cover

I have always enjoyed the song A Thousand Years by Christina Perri.

My first videos on YouTube were some piano cover videos. I then mentioned in another post that I often get “writer’s block”. I can come up with material I like for part of a song, but then get stuck for what to do with the rest of it.

Eventually I realized… this would be a perfect opportunity to have the intro be what I came up with on the piano, but layer the violin on top of it! This was also a great opportunity to try and see if I could record myself at the piano at the same time as playing the violin track and trying to sync up not only the video but audio tracks!
